Mom can't play video games!!

Last night C man asked me to play the PlayStation with him. I don't do the PlayStation that is Daddy's thing. I was feeling sorry for C man Darin was at church doing a men's group. I told him I would play for a little bit with him. He got Ratchet to play. My 4 year old is showing me how to play the game!! Here is how most of the conversation went as we were playing.

M: How do I jump?
C: Push the square mom.
M: Where do I go ?
C: Follow me and shoot the bad guys.
M: C I can't jump to the next thing.
C: Mom you want me to do it for you?
M: Yes, would you please.

He was a great teacher. I still don't know that I'm up to the challenge to play that with him. I later told C that, I would like to play a different game. Buzz Jr, I love this game. There are only 5 buttons and they are all a different color. It is a very easy game, even I can do it. I don't think C man will be asking me to play with him again on the PlayStation.

A and C's bike ride

A has been showing interest in getting her training wheels off her bike. Darin told her that he would help her learn to ride a bike. Then C wants in on the action too. After lunch one Sunday we get the bikes out of course they all have flat tires! After getting all the tires aired up. It was finally time to learn to ride our bike! A and C did a good job still some more work to be done, but they did a great job for the first time!

A New Tramp!!!!

In the spring we lost our Trampoline :( The kids informed D and I that our backyard was BORING!!!! My Aunt came to the rescue, they had a tramp that they wanted to get rid of! We went to KS last weekend and got the tramp! The kids have been on it everyday. Thanks Aunt Patty and Uncle Jeff for the tramp!

Skiatook Lake

Last Thursday we went to Skiatook Lake. We had the lake all to ourselves. I packed a lunch the kids played and swam the whole time. I got to spend some time in the sun and relax! Some day's it pays to be a homeschool/stay at home mommy! I love these day's!
